Los Angeles County Gives a Young Resident a Unicorn License
Last month, a resident of Los Angeles county, Miss Madeline, sent a handwritten letter to animal control asking if she has permission to keep a unicorn. In an act of kindness, Los Angeles County Animal Care and Control replied to her letter with the following:
A letter listing out the "requirements" for keeping a unicorn
A stuffed unicorn, complete with a metallic owner tag (to be a placeholder while the young lady searches for her real unicorn)
An official unicorn license
In times like these, this simple exchange brings me some hope for the future.
